Sun Burnt Head = No Hair Growth?

Hubby had his hair thinned on to before us going to Jamaica (Aug/Sept 08)...





It seems as though he got sun burnt on his hair.. he got large flakes which we removed, but still his hair isn't growing on top - at all!!





He's 25 and has hair is usually quite thick and darker brown...

nah i shaved my hair and got burnt but it grew back fineSun Burnt Head = No Hair Growth?
i think it could take a while. Leave it for a month or 2,it should at least star growing during this period if not, consult your doctor.

Finished Chemo 10 months ago and no hair growth?

My Mom finished chemo and radiation treatments last November where she lost ALL the hair on her entire body. It is now almost a year later and she has only grown back her eyelashes, eyebrows and only small patches of hair on her head. Does this mean it is likely that she will never grow a full head of hair or does it mean that it might take her much longer? All the articles I have found all say that your hair will grow back, so since it has not we are really confused.
